• ABOUT ME
Photography goes back a few generations in the family so it’s no surprise that I picked up my first camera at age 12 & I have not put one down since. After graduating The Portfolio Center art school of Atlanta, I began my career and landed in the success of stock photography.
My wife Janis Christie shared our love and skill for photography and together created Christie & Cole Studio Inc. as a primary workspace located in Atlanta’s Virginia Highland historic neighborhood. You can usually find me in my studio unless I am out working on a location or traveling the world from Tokyo, London or Italy capturing my next stock image.
I also love working closely with ad agencies and design firms to achieve a desired image. My work has been published by Time Magazine, New York Times, Ford, Money Magazine, Blue Cross Blue Shield, American Cancer Society, Oprah Magazine & Forbes magazine to name a few.
On the rare moments when I is not shooting I teach my best friend and dog Bailey new tricks, I also compete on the tennis court, love mountain biking and if I get really relax you might catch me with his feet up flipping through a vintage edition of Galaxy Magazine at our beach home in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
